Hello,
I have had problems with the first warzone as well. Lag spikes, crashes.. etc.
Warzone 2 has as well been unplayable for me. The FPS counter of Steam or battlenet reaching around 60 fps while the actual drops make it around 4 fps.
To try to solve this i installed afterburner with the built in hardware monitor to identify the problem.
The game doesn't seem to make full use of my PC, Fans never ramp up as they do in other heavy games. Same for the % usage of CPU, GPU, memory and storage. It does not matter whatever settings i try, ultra or low doesn't make a difference. (also tried the documents file change of thread count and pc video memory)
CPU and GPU temperatures in all cases are cooler then normally under load.
My pc:
Wanted to record a bit of gameplay to post here to show you guys how bad it is, but when i pressed the record button on OBS i suddenly got loads of improvements in performance. Making it somehow playeable. Still with 1% lows of 2/3 fps. But averaging around 50 fps. During recording with OBS the game seems to use more of my GPU and CPU. Averaging around 75% for GPU and 65% for CPU.
I have tried almost every video i could find about solving issues. But maybe you guys know something that might help or i might have missed while doing own research.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance!
