    Yeah your latencey is a little high there. That's probably one reason why.

    Port Forwarding wouldn't hurt. Any router that can handle speeds above yours should be good enough. If the lag still persists, I would contact your ISP and have them come check out your stuff.

    What's your latencey (ping) like? If it's anything over 100ms then that's why you're lagging. It also could be that there's not many people playing around your area and it's connecting with someone that's far away from you.
