Warzone question about gas grenade

Hello i am new at the forums here and quite new at warzone too. Playtime just about 3 days
In a match i threw a gas grenade inside a house the time an enemy showed up. I thought he wouldn't be able to shoot because of the coughing but to me surprise, he could. Is that the case? I remember that you shouldn't be able to shoot.

You can't ADS when you are coughing from gas, but you can still hipfire 1-handed. There should be a 300% increase in recoil while doing so, but this is Infinity Ward.

I think on a few occasions you can still shoot. Mostly you will have a coughing fit but every now again you can shoot, hardly ever tho. Quite sure l’ve been able too. Maybe it depends whether you’re in the very middle of gas or not?

I'm pretty sure you can always hipfire when gassed, just like when using a stimshot.

I think you’re right...again lol. I was actually talking about ADS. I have a slight feeling l’ve been able to do it before, unless I’m wrong and it was just a hipfire like you say.
Someone needs to throw me a gas grenade now cos l wanna check.
