if i was shadow banned and someone joins me will they also get shadow banned? i just want to clarify i literally went 20 and 6 in a single game yesterday and got mass reported but did horrible every other game i played and now im banned ive never cheated on cod in the 14 years or so ive been playing and ive given up on trying to talk to anyone at activision

First off, Welcome to CoDForums. I'll address all of them separately.

If a user goes onto your lobby, will it affect him/her? Yes, and no. It doesn't affect the other person, but yes, it "group" you into the same group - like "guilt by association" kinda thing.

And secondly, this "shadow ban" wears off in days. So, stop playing for a bit, on and off until this SBMM system is calmed down.

Thirdly, if they mass report you, and it comes out as false... The "shadow ban" goes away. That's one. And two... there's really not much you can do, because there's just too many weak, woke losers on Call of Duty at the moment...

Microsoft just acquired Activision, it's gonna take a while for a lot of this gets sorted out. Microsoft is currently dealing with a controversial subject at the moment where Microsoft is being rumored to moving away from the Xbox brand, and going "third party."
