DMZ Stowing Equipment Pre-Deployment???

AntiCheatAgent94

The Equalizer
I came across this blurb:

Keys and keycards should certainly be a priority for exfil situations since you can take them with you in future runs to open Strongholds and extremely valuable containers. ***You should also consider stowing an extra two or three-plate armor vest when you exfil even if you have one equipped, that way you have one to equip if you lose everything on a future DMZ run.***

WTF!!??? You can "stow" shit at "base" prior to deploying... Why am I just learning this now!!???

I am at work so I can't load up COD and see exactly how this works...

Can anyone enlighten me??

If this is true, this puts a whole new spin on DMZ.. If you can collect shit in-game and then store it at a "PMC" ala' MERCENARIES or FAR CRY, this would actually make DMZ playable and palatable...

"Anyone?? Anyone?? Buehler??"

:D

So, I went on some quick deployments.. In and out.. I have a LG Backpack and a TRI-PLATE vest... I picked up ANOTHER LG Backpack and another TRI-PLATE vest and successfully ex-fill'ed...

But now I can't find them anywhere in my pre-deployment screen... I guess it IS possible that, once I die and lose what I got, they will appear.. I am not too keen on testing that theory, thought.. :D

Anyone else actually tried this??

Thanx

OK I can confirm that the original idea is bubkis....

The only thing you can "store" at your "base" is weapons.. No backpacks, no Armor vests... :(

I thought it would make DMZ more palatable, but nope... DMZ is still shit.. :(
