Anyone know a good host for a clan website?

I'm looking to set up a clan website for my friends. We have a facebook group right now, but that's too hectic and confusing for all of us (We can't manage it together) Anyone have any recommendations as to which host/place I could go to have a neat little clan website set up?

I'd love to be able to send out email messages to the clan with schedules/reminders, so if you have something like that, then feel free to list it. Thanks.

You could create a .enjin website there easy to setup and there is a 100% free package you get. Also the website is setup for call of duty clans I think it has a nice layout and stuff. If you choose the package that costs then you get features like a chat box and even more stuff.

Yeah like Kamy said, Enjin is very good besides it's free and they have a LOT of themes, there's also iclanwebsites but I have never tried that one, Enjin's the best one for me.

I've tried iclanwebsites and yeah they don't have as many themes as Enjin but the two are very close to quality, I only tried iclanwebsites once for an old clan I used to have but next time I have to make a new website I'll go with Enjin for sure.

Enjin seems like a good choice. I checked out their website, but it still doesn't tell me if I'm able to send out newsletters to my clan. Is this possible with it?

I'm not entirely sure how you would go about setting up the newsletter system, I do however know that you definitely can set one up. (I remember when I was at school and we set one up on there, we had a newsletter that was sent out every week or so.)
Also I feel like enjin is the best bet for setting up a clan!

Yes your able to send out newsletters to your clan you just have to set it up first. I am not sure how the setting up process work, you will have to do some research. It shouldn't be hard just try Googling. That is how my friend found out.

Enjin for sure. I think there are tutorials on YouTube if you're looking to set up a newsletter on it, I personally learnt how to maximise the sites features by just watching tutorials on YouTube.

Are you serious about this site or looking for it as a hobby? If you're serious about purchasing a domain and using a database (mysql) for a call of duty forum or gathering spot or whatever you could check out Host1Plus. They have great prices and great customer service. If you ask at check out for some promotions, they'll knock $6.00 off a $12.00 domain for 1 whole year. And web hosting is as low as $2.95 a month!

Lots of free hosts are very bad, I understand that you are making a simple clan website... but I really recommend you hire a coder and get a custom coded website. Also if you can code some PHP and HTML and a basic understanding of CSS you can build yourself a damn good clan site.

I really like Enjin. There are many themes to choose from and it is made specifically for clans and guilds. A lot of Enjin sites are ugly and complicated, so I recommend making it simple for people to be attracted to your clan.

Like Golden said Enjin is good if you don't understand how to code your own site. You will want to keep enjin premium though after it expires since you miss out on a ton, and I mean a ton, of features once it expires.
