Just wanted to share this after I ranted a lot about Cold War.

I had enough, I went back to modern warfare, a 100% and I have absolutely no regrets at all.

When you go back from Cold War to Modern Warfare you feel how broken Cold War is and how much is missing. Modern Warfare feels so much better in every single aspect, from graphics, to gunplay over effects to choice and diversity of equipment and operators. It just feels so alive and fun to play.

Cold War is going to entertain only the dust in my " ignore-corner " until the devs come up with some fantastic and magical upgrade that makes me want to come back to it one day after I drained every piece of fun out of modern warfare, which is probably going to take me an other 5ish years.

Just wanted to say that. Best decision in a long time, to go back to MW.

In my experience, modern warfare was nothing like Cold War in the beginning. It has more content, was more stabile and was overall much better designed. Sure there were some flaws that people experienced, but worked very well for me and if you throw a look at the content, graphics and such, you see that Cold War is a lot inferior to MW. I think the millions of negative reviews and refund requests for CW prove that.

But if you enjoy it, it's great. You did not waste your 60 dollars then.

After update of season 1. Plays just fine for me. But my friends are having connecting problems where they can’t find a match to get in. And then when they do get in. It lags bad for them. They’ve also gone back to Modern warfare.

Ive never had any issues with the new updates so far and im loving the call of duty saga ive always liked Blackops since the regular Blackops days

Well I've tried hard to enjoy Cold War (Prestige Master Prestige 7 lvl 277) but, regardless of MW being the same when it was released (which just shows they don't care/ learn by experiance) Cold war is so bad that if it had been released before MW then I wouldn't have bothered buying that. As it is MW is far superior (even with it's shortcomings) graphically (heard it mentioned that CW reflects 70's gameplay/visuals), gameplay (even though it's interesting to one shot with a pistol at long range it's hardly realistic, especially for 70's weapons). Watching replays of kills by snipers who quickscope faster than using a pistol only to see that they missed completely). All in all it's a very poor rehash that relies on player base and lets them down badly, thankfully MW is still there and hopefully will not be replaced by this rubbish.

I totally agree with you on the quality of CW it is a little disturbing to be so far into the progression of this iconic brand and have to suffer such a drastic decrease of content in 2020-2021.

Exactly. As an addition to my reply I would like to know who thought that adding 'half time' to domination was a good idea ???? This is not a football match it is a game yes but seriously the concept of losing any advantage you had is totally bizarre and helps to ruin any continuity. Just one more idea that helps relegate this latest release to the bottom of the pile. The main worry is that tying it into Warzone and MW will eventually affect both these formats to the detriment of both.
