Why are us the pc gamers forgotten about

I love cod don't get me wrong but how come pc gamers are always the ones that reviece dlc last, different weapons or missions, differents presitges or none(mw1). For two long pc gamers have been the forgotten ones and all I want to know is why. pc is where fps started, pc made fps games big so why do they leave us to last as if we are the forgotten ones.

Wrong, pc is second last. Wii is last. I play COD on wii and am PROUD.

Becase the money isn't in PC gaming anymore, the money is in the console gaming with the 52 inch HD 3D tv. People don't have the money to upgrade their pc's every year, which if done the right way is pretty much a new console every year. So they put the money makers first, because if you upset your money makers then you will lose money. They probably don't make enough $ off PC gaming. Think about it, how many people do you know download games illegally? that is ruining pc gaming for us. EA Sports stopped Madden on pc in 08 and it STARTED on the pc. NHL stopped in 09. And they probably wont release it until there is a 100% full proof method of stopping illegal downloads. But bottom line is it is more cost effective to release patches and dlc's for consoles before PC.

You're not understanding Nishi. The sales number for PC games are very low, thanks in part to both console gaming and illegal downloads.

FPS while a popular genre, and it's where the genre started.. The sales numbers for PC are very low, especially for FPS. People on PC don't want to pay full-price for a copy of a Call of Duty game.

I completely understand what Nishi saod but what I'm trying to say is COD on PC is very cheap now and as the pc stats say there are easily over 2 million gamers for fps games within an hour. So still why besides those other points

They got paid to give it to M$ first. And I'm sorry but $60 for a game is not cheap let alone very cheap.

Oh, no. It's not cheap. $60 is very hard to come by especially if you're either broke, or low on money.

It's like 40 or 50 for the pc one now and I mean all you need to do is trade in old games( non pc) or just save

okay but those are the reasons from a business stand point. Peoples friends most likely have it on console, consoles are more multi user friendly, therefore are in more households for gaming rather then 4+ seperate PC's. Thats my theory anyway. Maybe they just hate pc? Perhaps they have less PC Developers than they do 360 + PS3 (although it's prob all done via a pc hah go figure).
