Aren't they actually running missions now that are now specifically just operator hunting?

Yea, there are missions you can choose that are Operator Hunts..
In this particular case, a team of 6 wiped out 3 of my team mates.. I was in another area and was able to sneak back.. When I found them, the offending team were standing around trying to divvy up the loot of my team mates..
Shocked the shit outta them when I opened up on 'em!!

besides having 2 weapons can you put weapons in backpack. i noticed in pic you have 2 loadout and 1 in backpack

Yes. When deployed you can carry your two weapons and then can pick up a 3rd weapon and carry it out with you..
But only if you have a MED or LG backpack..

If you exfiled with a Med or Large Backpack you can load into the next session with a 3rd weapon.
I have done it to drop a weapon for someone before. I NEVER do that to play as it leaves you no room to take one out with you for additional contraband weapons

Yea, I rarely do that as well.. But sometimes it's nice to be able to carry an armory with you...
My choice loadout is my HCR-56, my Victus and a PILA for the pesky choppers...
