60 FPS?

Please no fanboy wars. I just wanted to know if this game is going to be 60 FPS? I know I could Google it but I'd rather get some responses on here. Thanks for the information!

It is definitely using 60 FPS. It is said they are pushing the engine to the max for this game. I just hope the hardware can keep up. I am hoping they utilize the sixaxis controller more for this game. Honestly who can really tell the difference from 30 to 60?

There's a definite difference for faster-paced games and games with a lot of things happening on the screen. It will be in 60fps, and tests have shown that the same applies for the Xbox One version as well.

Awesome! And yes. There's a definite difference between 30FPS and 60FPS. I've played The Last of Us on PS3 and PS4 and there's a very noticeable difference. I really hate it when developers use the whole "it's more cinematic in 30" argument to use as an an excuse.

The whole cinematic argument is a bunch of horsecrap, really it's just devs saying "these consoles are not fast enough, let's make an excuse". Games feel better at 60, that's why I play on a PC. I'd rather make the game look a bit worse so it can play well.

Yes COD is known for having 60fps now will it maintain a smooth 60 fps without dipping like crazy is another question. And looking at how some of these current gen systems are having a hard time keeping up (not pointing any fingers but we all know what system that is) I dont know what might happen.

Is this on PS4 or just PC. I'm really excited if the 60 FPS will be on PS4 as I love The Last of Us Remastered. It was smooth and I hope AW will be that smooth!

60 frames per second is all well and good (and in fact Ghosts runs higher than that on PS4... by mistake), but it doesn't make up for the flat, bland and lifeless world you inhabit. You don't buy a supercar for the engine alone, even if it does purr like a fat kitten on your warm lap. How you dress it up matters, and CoD has not been dressed to impress for years now.

I know its a great example of copy and paste game development. Activation spends most of the dev money for COD in advertising and press event to get people to buy the game.
