I am completely done with all of the political nonsense going around, these days. If this is the direction Activision wishes to go, and these are the kinds of partners Activision wants, I am completely done with Activision and Call of Duty. I stopped buying Battlefield, and now it looks like I will no longer be supporting Call of Duty, either. Until companies like Activision feel the pain in the bank account, nothing will change. Battlefield felt it, very hard, and now it's time for Activision to learn a hard lesson, too.

The political nonsense going on around the world, in general, and the embedded politics in just about every form of "entertainment." Now, we have "white supremacy" propaganda nonsense with CoD, with that being the reason for using AI to monitor us. Any company ot person who partners with the ADL doesn't deserve the tiniest bit of support. They are using everything they can to divide and conquer us on every level possible, and I'm not going to give them my money for that.

Think what you like about me and my comments on this but I will not be one with a "Boycott". I have actually read the article and have come to the conclusion that it is not political nor big brother kind of stuff. I mean, come on, we have all heard the conversations, trash talk and crap in the ingame chat. There is the normal N-calling which even the black community engages in and then there is the way more toxic slurs. I would hope that we are all adult enough and educated enough to be aware of the difference and when it happens.

From what I read the software or AI is suppose to be able to identify this in the chat that it monitors. I stated in another thread that I am not really concerned with it at this point and I do know that it is being used now. It is also my understanding that bans will not be forthcoming at this point so I consider this a learning phase for the AI in which it will establish traits or instances for which it will act in the future. I suspect that we wont really see anything happen until MW3 is released.

I, for one, do not engage in nor accept toxic chat ingame. I have called people out on it and asked them to grow up. Usually I become the focal point of abuse at that point. So I keep my mouth shut more now and keep my chats to game stuff or general banter. My skin is thick enough to not be offended by those who hide behind their mikes and monitors.

I am not sure it we can ever clean up the ingame chat nor do I want it to get cleaned up with the exception of toxic shit and slurs. What concerns me more is the number of real life young children that I hear while playing that are parroting what they hear grown ups saying. Be it slurs, sexual or other derogatory statements it saddens me to know that these children are learning life habits and attitudes that will take way longer to unlearn than it took to learn of them.

I hope that this AI will not destroy the game and my gut says that it wont. I will be interested to see if it does actually clean up some of the trash or at the very least reduce it. If people do get banned then I hope it is not a TEMP one as it should be a full ban.

Agree that children should not be influenced and learning toxic slurs from adults in game chat. With that said, it irks me that parents allow children under 18 to be playing violent games. I know, it's way too late to lecture on this subject but, just the same makes me madder than hell it's happening. Parents: grow up and be a role model for your children. Teach them to be good citizens and respectful of others.

I'm familiar with some of the YouTuber's and Podcasters that promote racism. I despise them and their views. COD is also promoting pot use and cult worshiping: cannabis and pentagram logos popping in conflict. The liberal media is the blame for much of the downward spiral we're in. It has to stop.

I don't mind the pentagram, because it relates to demons. It's not so much a promotion of the logo, but more of a storyline of sorts. Zombies > Hell > Pentagram brings forth higher beings than zombies. I get why people hate pentagrams in gaming, but these Christians blow it out of proportion. I believe in god, but at some point people need to remember it's just a game. Politics doesn't belong in gaming, unless it's a storyline. Advanced Warfare did it splendidly.

And, yes, you're right... a lot of what we're seeing right now is [partly] because of liberal media.

And to be honest, Activision is not going to feel any pain in their pockets. Why do you think these companies want to merge with others? Because once they become big enough, the average Joe (Unless MILLIONS of people band together. Not going to happen FYI) can't inflict enough damage to hurt them. Blizzard is the perfect example.

I don't care if I'm the only one who boycotts (I'm not, though; I have heard many others talk of it, too), I'm still going to follow my principles and do what I feel is right. Battlefield took a major hit, last year, due to political nonsense and the resulting backlash from players. The same thing might happen to CoD this year. I'm tired of all the ridiculous, nonexistent "white supremacy" crap. I'm an older white guy from Southern USA, and I have never met a "white supremacist." All this stuff is simply being pushed to divide all of us and get us to hate and distrust one another. I'm not going to be a part of it, and I'm not going to give Activision my money to keep making garbage like that. This will be the first CoD, since the beginning, that I will not be playing--and I'm perfectly fine with that.

My default setting in multiplayer is to mute everybody, all the time. I don't have the desire, time or patience to listen to juvenile delinquents yelling, insulting and cursing over the mic. It's just a game, not the end of the world. It's not that serious.

It's not about that when it regards to AI chat. You can get banned even for the smallest thing, or be falsely accused or falsely reported or falsely shadowbanned and so on and on. This AI is going to be in the SBMM system, where you would be lagged for the algorithm's idea of a winner. SBMM falsely shadowbans people.

Great idea that they're trying to calm down and tone down the idiotic comments, but these systems usually falsely moderates people. So, you can call someone names, insults, and whatnot. If I could control this kind of system, I would only moderate racial slurs. Nothing more, and nothing less.

I agree with you, on both XBox policies and Gates. Bill Gates is no longer part of M$, but he has gotten worse with vaccines (poison) and medical propaganda--plus, he's gotten control of a huge portion of the nation's farmland. I have him on video saying he can reduce population growth by using the healhcare system and vaccines, so do you think I want ANYTHING he's promoting? Heck no! Anyone who wants to reduce the world's population is not going to advise me on healthcare. The arrogance of him even wanting to reduce the number of people on the planet, and thinking he has the power to do so. That's just plain evil, in my opinion.

But my main beef with this whole system is the racial crap that they are using as the reason for the new monitoring, in the first place. It's just another way to divide us and control our speech, while they conquer us, little by little.
