I thought if you unlock platinum it automatically adds it to later added guns in the class like I got all my sniper and marksmen but I unlocked the SKS and crossbow and I don't have any camos for them

I'm fairly certain that each weapon has its own progression route that needs to be unlocked separately, so camo unlocks on 1 can't be carried over the to another, even if they are in the same class.
To unlock plat you have to progress all the weapons in a class that were released when the game came out. So, for marksman, there were 3? Ones those three are finished it unlocks for that class. But, you still have to progress the new ones (crossbow, sks) separately to unlock plat for them.
