Captain Price

What i want to know is that i mean in the end of Cod MW3 Captain Price is severly injured, his leg is full on bleeding and he is like fading in and out of consciouness yet for some reason he light's and smoke's a bloody ciggar. I mean seriously WTF

For some people, smoking eases any pain sustained thus far. His smoking at the end is in relief that Makarov is dead.

Have you never heard of the victory cigar? the celebatory cigar? Perhaps by smoking that cigar after makarov died he is remebering his squad members. Because if they had not been there, and had not given their lives for the mission then makarov would still be out there terrorizing the world :].

& In reality, soldiers like Captain Price portrays do not have the time to mourn their fallen comrades at the time of their demise. And honestly, a lot of soldiers remember their fallen comrades by a drink.

I mean, when you are a soldier you deal with death and as mean as it sounds you get used to it. Now imagine an elite soldier of Captain Price's stature, how much crap he has seen and been through. Someone dying is not on the top of his concerns. All of his team members knew what they were getting into. But all in all the bottom line is this: Captain Price decided to smoke that cigar instead of doing anything else at that point because, he is a bada$$ muhfuh!

It's a game man, and yes a lot of people smoke cigars to not only celebrate a victory but to relax. It's all apart of Captain Price's persona. Look back at COD4, the first real mission (Wet Work) he starts off smoking the cigar.

doubt it because there was no lead on from MW3 no new threat or unanswered villian then again there wasn't really anything letting people know about MW2 so maybe

I agree, I said in an article at MW3Blog, that MW4 will be a completely new trilogy. However, Frost's quietness leads me to think that he will have a place in MW4. He's the only questionable character in the game as far as I know.
