COD Pump or Dump

A lot of my friends play COD games and love the multi-player aspects to them, i have to disagree strongly. Aside from having zero interest in a game where all you do is run around and shoot another player and then die and then magically respawn just to do the same thing over again this game is just boring.
My friends can sit in front of a tv playing this for hours and hours and there is no difference since they started playing it to the time they turn it off.. I feel like a couple hours of my life were just sucked out of me. There is no character development, no progression aside from obtaining a new gun or some kind of body armor. You can't do anything else but run and shoot. That is the only thing in the game to do. All in all i give these games a 2 out of 10 for fun and 1 out of 10 for time well wasted.

Then why are you here?

Call of Duty has been a strong brand, and a strong niche because of the gameplay that started with COD4. It's a fast paced first person shooter that rewards you with killstreaks, as you level up, you are rewarded with better ranks, and better weapons. As you level up, you can obtain new weapon attachments and camos, this adds to the customization of your weapons.

You can only run and shoot? Um, sorry, no. You can lay prone, you can crouch, you can swap weapons, you can throw a grenade, and you can even stab a person. Are you a sniper type? You can use a sniper rifle to take players out from a long distance. You want to shield yourself? You can use a riot shield.

The only reason why the series is getting stale is because it's the same shit every year.

Dude, if call of duty had character creation *just jizzed in my pants thinking about it* it would be fucking epic. And if u could have 3 attachments on a weapon with out using a proficiency or perk like bf3 I would 100+ dollars just for the disk, fuck the add-on content and download codes lmao

Black Ops almost had character creation. If you changed perks, and the various different kinds of equipment, your character changes.

Yea but it was garbage. Your first perk decided what ur character looked like. I want to edit my player in detail with shit like *type of bulletproof vest, headgear, type of bullet he shoots, performance depending on what type of soldier he is(ex: scout sniper, infantry, demo expert) shit like dat
