Did anyone else notice how absolutely ridiculous the controller aim assist is? Not only does aiming in cause you to sort of snap to enemies near your crosshair, it drags towards them as your aiming and tries to stop you from over aiming. Switching from keyboard and mouse to controller my KD almost tripled because it genuinely feels like playing with aimbot. I get that playing against someone using a mouse can be frustrating for controller players but assist definitely needs to be adjusted at least a little bit.

Does it seem that strong in warzone also? or just cold war?
Honestly, I’m not sure, I haven’t played a call of duty game since Advanced Warfare until this open beta was released. You can probably just take a look through the controller settings in Warzone. In Cold War it describes exactly what the aim assist does and how it works.

Another pc guy not knowing what he's talking about ; Aim assist has been broken since day one it actually really hinders you due to leading in front of the target if your on console , check out Exclusive Ace's youtube video and Activision's response to him .
This post make no sense as there literally is NO aim-assist on consoles (there might be in the single player campaign though).
There is aim-slow-down when within a certain range (not far, like within 15-20 meter) and that is it.
That means your controller-input gets slowed down if aiming close to a target, but that’s it.
If any the problem is the cheaters - which is playing on PC’s.
Get your facts straight.

Have you even played on console yourself (because I have, a lot!) or are you just annoyed someone killed you and looking for any other excuse that then they were just better then you?
Check some of the countless videos about it, it really ain’t that hard to get a firm grasp on reality.
Aim-slowdown does not equal aim-assist and there has never been “snapping to target” in warzone on consoles.
I think you just need to git gud.

About pcplayers are cheaters, yes there are problems but alot of them (morons) get banned.

No, I am saying that aim assist does not exist on consoles when playing multi-player.
I have not had a big problem with cheaters in this game (but that saying, the ones I’ve run into has all been pc-users), so I don’t think that much about that part at all.
I’m just trying to rid the world of some of the misconceptions a lot of pc-players seem to have about what’s it’s like to play on a console as it seems like a lot of them starts yelling about (the non-existent...) aim-assist every time a console-player is better then themselves.
That has nothing to do with if there is aim-botting or aim-assist in cod/warzone on consoles.
It’s third-party gear that tries (badly) at giving console-users the means to play with keyboard and mouse (if it’s like the apex which I assume).
The fact is still that there is no multi-player aim-assist (for anyone) in warzone.
If you want to fork over dough to play a console like it’s a Pc then I would personally just buy a real pc and get the real deal instead.
I'm sorry, but I agree with him. That crap is a "aim-assist" device. However, because it's a "device on a device" issue, the teams at Activision, Treyarch, or Infinity Ward can't close the loophole because it's not really a "code alternation," which is what you're saying.

its actually funny how delusional console players are. When you hipfire the game literally pivots your body for you. Every tryhard console player jumps presses left trigger and it hard pulls onto a players chest with smgs. Drag scoping is outrageous because if you use precision(funny there are 4 ways to dial your aimlock) pressing left trigger does pull your aim and center it onto a target for you.
Console players saying aim assist isnt the same as aim lock cheats are using one of the two aim assists that just slows your crosshair when aiming down sight, because that aim assist setting is the one that improves your hipfire for you. People using the precision settings are the ones where it fixes your bad aim for you at the cost of the hipfire.
At this level of technology and the gaming controllers being better than ever there shouldnt be aim assist. its almost impossible to get a pc lobby now but at least the console players feel like its their skilll lol

You have obviously never played on console. All of the aim assist settings do is very slightly slow down your ads once over a target. You get zero aim assist from hip firing , you're not aiming duh !
Have you ever played any cod ?
Shipment on MW plenty of quick scopers , black ops 3 no aim assist for snipers yet plenty of us used sniper rifles on all maps and some owned the lobby's constantly!
