Create-A-Class Firing Range

It's a simple feature, but I like that Advanced Warfare is adding in a firing range. When you're customizing weapons, you can test them out immediately within the Create-A-Class menu. You go to a firing range that let's you try out the weapons you've been customizing. After you play the game long enough, this feature becomes less useful, but newer players will find it invaluable. It's nice for testing out different cominbations, too.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier had this feature years ago, and it was pretty useful. It's one of those things that's small but makes a difference.

Well, that's a little more in-depth than the Ghost Recon firing range, which was just a few targets and concrete walls in the middle of a desert. I like that the range gives you some moving targets to fire at, too.

I think it's a pretty good feature to test out new guns. Usually you'll have to get used to the gun and perform badly with it in your first game but with this feature you can get a little more feeling for the gun. Of course it's not as good as playing a normal deathmatch etc but it's definitely useful. I'd say if CoD adds more of these little things then they'd be on their way to really knock out any of the competition that there is.

A definitely welcome addition. We will finally be able to test out our guns without having to wait for a game and then have to exit, change class settings and wait again.
