They are not banning Cronus/StrikePacks because those are HARDWARE manipulation. Software manipulation is what they're currently trying to combat. These:
I feel like cronus is just as bad as aim bot, I run into way more cronus/strikepack users than actual cheaters. The strikepack come with recoil control and other mods which give a huge advantage
I think Microsoft is more equipped to deal with the hardware cheats than Activision is. I don't want them to buy Activision because of the "console exclusive" thing, but Microsoft stopped a lot of the hardware manipulation during the Xbox 360 era. In that respect, I hope Microsoft can collaborate with Activision with that regard. However, though... we're seeing software hackers/cheaters than we're seeing cronus/strikepack.
