Before you read any further please be sure to read our mission statement and be sure you will fit into the DSO Clan.
Mission Statement
DSO Clan is a community of gamers from diverse walks of life who believe in fair and honorable gaming. While we applaud and encourage skill, we place a higher value on a good attitude. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for other like-minded gamers regardless of age, weight, height, heritage, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or political views. We are both casual gamers and competitive gamers who actively attend industry events and competitive tournaments, as well as compete online. We believe in living and gaming with honor and integrity. Our goal is to provide a drama-free entertainment community for ALL gamers, everywhere.
Now, if you feel you have what it takes then it's your lucky day. DSO will be starting a Black Ops Division for the PS3 which will be the flagship game for DSO on the Sony Platform. As many may know, or if you don't, MLG has picked up Black Ops and it is played at the national events via PS3. DSO is looking for gamers who are willing to put in the time and effort to support DSO in what ever form they are able. Wether it be through going to events, playing online ladders, playing online tournaments and all the way down to the basics of DSO which is attending practices with the clan. You do not have to be the best player to support others and improve your game.
The division will be Social Competitive which means you must follow all DSO rules which apply to the division and the clan itself. Below is the link to the recruit guidelines.
* NO BOOSTING, CHEATING, MODDING, STANDBY-ING, BRIDGING, GLITCHING or anything else that would give you or your teammates an unfair advantage in a match.
* Always say "good game" at the end of a match no matter how much trash talking is/has been going on during the game. Mute the bad kids mid-game if you have to - don't trash talk back.
* Encourage the other players on your team - do not disparage, taunt or disrespect - encourage a weaker player or call out to your teammates if you need assistance!
* NEVER EVER EVER say the "R-word" (r4p3). You will be automatically removed from DSO. Period.
* Appear ONLINE at practice or Gametimes so we can INVITE you! If you're offline, how will we know you're there? If you don't get an invite, ask for one!!
* We CANNOT recruit you into division if you are a member of another competitive clan.
* DSO requires RESPECT, DECORUM & SPORTSMANSHIP at ALL times, especially at practice!
