Warzone Error code when trying to launch the game.

Hello to the guys and gals reading.

I actually bought the base game on launch but couldn't get it to run with the same problem, with only 3 days to get a refund I had to throw in the towel and claw back my cash. Now that WarZone is f2p I can have a thorough tinkering with my setup but I've failed miserably. It's simply beyond my expertise at this point but I give myself full marks for trying, many hours of google searching and system tweaking will attest to that.

The error code in question is : 0x0000000000000000 7505236 0x0000005

My rig:

Windows 10 64 bit home edition
GTX 1070
Intel i7-6820HK
16gb Ram


If anyone can steer me in the right direction to solve it I'll be very grateful.

I just figure out this issue by my self, if your monitor is not g sync type then go on window mode. I hope it helps.

I Appreciate your input. I have a gaming laptop so you've at least given me another avenue to go down regarding my display settings/capabilities . I've not actually tried it in windows mode either so I'll give it a try.

Finally got it working!

For anyone interested, brace yourself!.....

I updated my Nvidia display drivers to the latest version. Now before anyone calls me a clown for not doing that in the first place hear me out because that's the first thing I did....

I have Geforce Experience installed which is what I use to check to see if I have the latest drivers for my graphics card. I click on the "check for updates" icon and it said I have the latest version which according to the software was version 381.XX (forget the other digits). But!... if you go to Nvidia's website the latest driver is actually 442.59. So it seems the Geforce Experience app isn't 100% reliable.

Moral of the story..... Don't rely on the in-app update function, always check manually on the website.

This update was released on 10/03/20 so it hasn't been out long. Here is the link for it:
