I stopped buying extra map packs a while ago. I hate that they charge so much for games now, and then hold of on giving us maps (or other DLC) just to get a lil more money later on. I know I sound cheap, but it's a principle. Either put it all in the game to begin with, or lower the prices of these suckers.

I bought one for the Black Ops 1, and had a blast for a while, but I'm not sure either if it's worth it. It is just such a quick and easy way to earn money, and we've already payed so much for the game...
If they're going to do that, I wish they'd have sales on it every now and again.

I've only played the multiplayer maps. In general, three of them are reasonably good. Over all, if you're not getting that much out of the game, the pack aren't really going to do much more than give you an additional week of amusement. It's not a game changer or anything.

I have the season pass for Black Ops 2 and so far the revolution map pack was pretty good. I already max prestiged and got my peacekeeper weapon from the map pack diamond. The maps are good. They could of been better but they're not bad also. I would say the map pack is overall worth the money at first but of course over time you will get tired of them especially since it seems that Treyarch is putting out map packs every other month instead of each month like Infinity Ward did with its season pass.
