Just curious which one prefer playing on. I have friends that say the game is made for consoles but I personally prefer the PC version, although certain performance issues bug me on the PC version as my computer specs aren't amazing.

I like playing on the computer, although my pc being a bit spoiled.
The games on playstations not look so good, I can not explain :)

I definitely love playing on the computer. I find the graphics are much better since its my system and my hardware. I know what works, and what doesn't work. Not to mention the mouse makes it a more realistic playstyle. I know for a fact that us PC gamers would own xbox players anytime once we get a mouse and a keyboard. I've been wanting to do something like that, but haven't really gotten the time to do so.

Haha, all the votes are on PC. Well it seems like we're sheep but I think PC too. I only have 3 reasons:
  1. It looks nicer.
  2. Mods
  3. The players seem much cooler (aka no 12 year olds.)
I have played most cod games on both xbox and pc, and I haven't really found any exceptions to the 3 reasons, I've just found PC gaming is much more enjoyable and you get bothered much less by other players.

For me it has to be PC for one big reason you get mods and you can play your PC with a ps3 controller or an Xbox 360 controller and it is then jjust like console gaming but better.

Another vote for PC for me. A lot of good points have been stated already in this thread, but to go with a basic reason, it's because a PC is a console plus more. I don't understand die hard console enthusiasts, they just look silly to me. I can do anything your console can do plus a million other things.

I have an Xbox since I can't afford a high end gaming PC and I'm not a 12 year old :P, I've always played the CoD series on Xbox, I tried playing on PC once and I just could not get used to the keyboard and mouse it felt unnatural and like my hands weren't made for that but that's just me.

Haha, looks like we only have one consoler gamer so far, I've always preffered PC gaming because of the ability to mod your game and have more fun, we all know that no matter how much we like a game after playing it for so long we get bored of it so I think that by having the option to add mods we can continue to play it in new ways without getting bored of it and I really like how the matches have WAY more players than on console.

Hehe, yes it's hard to play it on a PC after being used to playing on Xbox. Also, I feel you when you say you can't afford a high end gaming PC. Having to run everything on low/medium settings is very sad (I'm one of the people struggling with that). Sadly though, you are missing out by not being able to have mods for the game this way.

Still, it's nice to know our community is varied! More show of hands for consoles? So far us PC gamers are winning. Come on, don't be shy!

Agreeing with most people here, PC gamers are much more mature and way more experienced. Plus it's cheaper of about the same price: I could build a PC that can easily max black ops two for around 400-500 dollars. Playing FPS games on consoles just feel weird to me, especially because of things like aim assist.

PC - better graphics
- more customizations
-capable of the latest mmo games
-can use mods
-better servers for games
-lots of unique games that wouldn't work on consoles
-games are easier to be pirated
-cheaper games

consoles - great amount of exclusives that will never go to pc
-unique ways to play games i.e motion controls
-usually gets multiform games before pc these days
-harder to hack, but still very possible
-sense of community with friends lists and achievements/trophies
-more affordable, as a very high end pc will cost a lot

I use PC for all my gaming. I used to have an Xbox 360 slim and a PS3 but I slowly started to realize that just gaming on the computer is a much better option. I wouldn't even consider my PC high end, it's a laptop by the way, but I'm seeing better graphics and performance capabilities than what consoles could provide. I rarely and I mean very rarely experience lag in a multiplayer session while it was commonplace with playing on console. I will never go back to console gaming.

I played on a gaming computer a couple of times and really loved it, but the computer I have at the moment just can't handle it.
Maybe one day I'll get into it but at the moment the time gap between games coming out on consoles and on PC are kind of putting me off.

This guy said it all. So I'm going to quote him and tl;dr the whole thing.

PC is the only actual gaming machine. A console is a cheap version. A pc you can mod everything the game and the machine. Parts are cheap and you can do so much more. The keyboard and mouse is a classic killing machine for online games. Not to mention a dual monitor to put on some sponge bob episodes while heads explode. AYE AYE I CANT HEEEAAARRRRR YOU. .... BOOM blood splatters.

Not to mention the graphics are better and controls are better and everything is amazing.

console = newbs
pc = pro

Guess I am a newb, I prefer shooters on console. To be honest though, I haven't really given PC a fair chance. There is something about controlling the movement with actual keyboard that does not do it for me,but I love mouse action (that just sounds wrong). There needs to be a great merger and bring the two worlds together. I also do not have a high end PC so all the other perks, I have not experienced yet.

I'd have to go with the PC as well. Although I also own it one the xbox to play with friends that don't have a PC to play it on. I just prefer the little things to go with it, such as how it is much more beautiful, and the community seems a little more quiet than the xbox community is.

I like PC better than playing consoles. I can play so many games on PC and I can just download emulators and play them. Whenever I get a console, it ends up overheating and breaking. I just like the gameplay better. I don't really like using a controller to play.

I've never played on PC, only consoles. I've never had a console overheat on me (how much are you playing? lol)

Controllers are like an extension of my hand at this point. Can't imagine doing it any other way.

I play both on PC and consoles, though more PC than console, admittedly. That's for a variety of reasons - the graphics on PC are simply put, better than those on the PS3 and consoles in general.

There's also the fact that I prefer the mouse and keyboard, as it gives me more precise aiming, and the built-in auto aim on many console games annoys me a bit.

Ultimately, both PC's and consoles have their own pros and cons, but I'll still prefer the PC anyday.

I've got to say that the PC is better overall right now. Simply because of the fact of an extremely large game selection on top of an easy way to actually get games, which are almost exclusively digitally these days. I favor FPSs but I enjoy real tike strategy which is best exucted on the PC and strategy games in general on the console are difficult to play with a controller. I also think that shooters are best played with the mouse and keyboard.

That being said, I still enjoy consoles. What the PC lacks is that fun feeling of playing with friends, it's just more wholesome on a console
