Warzone Fed up of PC Cheats - When will Xbox be able to disable cross play?

I’m curious to hear other people’s experiences; as an Xbox gamer I’m more than fed up of being forced to play against PC cheats / aim bots / whatever other term they go by. I’ve wasted numerous hours of gameplay in recent days when during a game I’ve been sniped in the head from 500 metres away by a ‘player’ who didn’t even look, spun 180 degrees on a rooftop & effectively no-scopes me in the head. I’ve taken videos of it but can’t post them here.

It’s completely pointless playing this game any more until crossplay can be disabled for Xbox players. Why we can’t already, who knows, but they’ve lost at least one paying customer until this is changed.

You can turn off cross play. Go to options > account > cross play and there should be an option to turn off. Just remember you are going to have a limited pool, since you're only going to be in the same pool as Xbox players.

You can’t turn off crossplay on Xbox for the Warzone game mode. It forced you to turn it on to play (Warzone only).

I’m aware that in the Xbox options you can block playing against people not on Xbox live, but this makes matchmaking impossible so I suspect the way the cod matchmaking is set up effectively blocks this. I tried it and couldn’t get a game at all, yet there is definitely no shortage of Xbox players.

Within the CoD game itself, PS4 players can play Warzone without having to enable crossplay, so why can’t Xbox players?!

I’m asking a simple question which doesn’t need your pointless keyboard warrior input. A lot of times I do due due to people being better than me, but just last night I took 2 videos being killed by people unequivocally cheating. It ruins the game.

Going back to my original question: Why can PS4 players disable crossplay on Warzone but Xbox players can’t?

On Warzone you cant disable cross play

Xbox users are just cannon fodder for the cheats. Its not about skill when they are using advanced technology to gain an advantage. I have seen people literally shoot through rocks i have spectated players no scope people stood on building and instantly spin and do the same again. It does not even give you the opportunity to report players when you spectate them hacking the game. You can disable cross play on the xbox settings but doing so results in enormous wait times (i have never found a game so maybe it does not actaully work) i waited over 20 mins once and nothing. I think a prompt screen when opening the game would help CROSSPLAY ENABLED/DISABLED ??

Its does suck that you cant report while watching I have seen blatant cheaters myself, don't even care if they are being spectated. But you can report them after game in your friends option part where it says last played with, I do report as many times i can on the same guy, LOl don't know if it only takes 1 report or multiple from a person? Believe me i cant stand a hacker, Im on PC they just ruin the dam game, TO YOU HACKERS you think your good standing in towers just aimbotting wall hacking, you guys are NOTHING YOUR CRAP AND THAT'S WHY YOU HACK BECAUSE YOU JUST PLAIN SUCK ASS AT THE GAME. GROW SOME BALLS.

Nha... that game is BS full of cheater.... It's plain garbage and ACTIVISION just suck to not been able to ban hacker.... This game is pure trash! the only good point... it's free! i would not even pay 1$ for it.
