The campaign is short, so it wouldn't surprise me if this were made available as a standalone free game in a few years from now, or at least sold as a standalone game.

People get 100's of hours out of the multiplayer game, so I don't think that Activision would give that away for free, particularly when they already have Warzone as a free to play game that anyone can play.

Yea, from Activision's point of view, MP *is* the game...

The Single Player/campaign is likely a freebie.. An afterthought..
