Please don't laugh at my inane attempt at a Gamer Video Card.. :D

Anyone know enough about this archaic Video Card to give me the best GFX settings???

Thanx in advance...

That's a decent GPU for 1080p gaming, depending on your CPU you should be able to over 180 fps on lowest settings and over 80 fps on high, you will not see over 60 on Ultra though.

This is what GPU check has to say about the GTX 970 and the tests were from a system running an i7 4770K. With a better CPU than that it might be possible to get even higher results.

In this video, the GTX 970 was getting between 60-88 fps with all settings on medium.

Yea, my FPS is about the same as in the video. Between 65 and 75...

I have a Core i7-3930 3.2ghz 24GB RAM, so I am good on that score..

Thanx... :D

The game is best played at the native resolution of your monitor, reducing the resolution will just lead to poor scaling and that results in really bad visual quality.

So that monitor will run 2560x1440, 1920x1080 and 1280x720, you could try 1280x720 but I wouldn't recommend, 1920x1080 is the place to be, 2560x1440 would be too taxing for your GTX 970 when it's already working hard enough at 1080p.
