Help for a God Awful Player

I never played a COD game until MW3. I get killed all the time, I even went 0-37.

I need some help badly in this game before I snap my disc and break my controller.

My K/D is 0.1
I use an ACR 6.8 w/silencer
MP9 Silenced
Semtex & Flashbang
Sleight of Hand
Assassin Pro
Dead Silence
Support Strike Package

^ I use all of those and I still suck.

I'm almost about to snap my disc if I don't improve because this is ridiculous.

I have a K/D ratio of around 0.70 and I use the same loadout with almost the same perks and attachments.

The best advice I have is, know the maps well, and if they camp, join 'em. See how they react.

I hate camping, but I have this mentality "If you can't beat them, join 'em."

If you know some spawn points, I would only choke point a few areas. I know some spawn points, but I don't really use them because I don't want to cheat the system by exploitation.

I already reported some people who use spawn points as a way to win the match. What I mean is players who go to these spawn points precisely just to rack up the kills on spawn or a few seconds of spawn. That's not a good way to play.

Here are some "safe choke points" I suggest...

Hardhat's long tube area (a corridor), where 50% of the time people rush into the area. I lay prone there 20% of the time, the other 80% depends on where players are, like the construction site the merges into the center building; that's a good camping area, only if you know that nobody's coming behind your back in a few secs or whatnot.

Bootleg is a great map for players like you, so I would lay prone on the entrance of the garage. Another good area is the loading dock, where that truck sits.

Mission is a great team match, so I would use the center of the map as a "camping" spot, the one spot that I use is the one next to the truck. Lay prone there until someone shoots or knifes you from behind, switch to a new spot, like that entrance to the cliff...You'll get multiple kills up there if you time it right.

Bakaara's a bitch map for run n' guns like you and I. Whip out a sniper rifle and start sniping this area out. Two good spots are: You know where the car is tripped over sideways? There's a car behind that, stand on it or crouch, which-ever you're comfortable with... Time it right, and you could rack up 3 kills before someone comes after you from another area. The other area is a building that's facing the helicopter, use this spot to get headshots from people sitting on that helicopter.

Resistance is another bitch map for run-n-gun. So, your mission: Camp the shit out of that middle building. Spot one is the first thing you see when you look to your right, lay prone next to the coffee table, wait and kill a few times before someone kills you. Respawn, go back there, kill person who's in there, and camp the next area: The kitchen. Respawn, go back, kill person in there, sit on the couch behind entrance. Respawn, go back, kill person, this time, use the couch in the corner. Finally, go back and then kill person, sit on the couch in the broken kitchen. Now, from here on out, rush and gun. If you have opportunity, do what I said again, but make it confusing for your enemies. That's the point. I realize I am telling you my secret to success, but hey.

you could go back to previous cod I just played a match in black ops where everyon had under a .30 kd(excluding me). Also it will take time for you to get better I know when I started in black ops my kd was .56 but then I got good and worked it up to a 1.21 which was hard cause I had a LOT of deaths.now on my second cod game ever I have a 1.40 kd and it keeps getting better

Yeah dude, just take your time and learn the maps. Try all the perks and feel out what's good for you.

Personally, I don't think mw3 was the best installment to gt your start on but hey, that's life!

You'll be alright, it's all a game of practice.
