I need help with my gun choice. Im a major run and gunner that usually runs quickdraw. I dont really like to use an SMG anymore but assault rifles. I like to have a gun that can hold its own with an SMG at semi close range, but also long range capability. thanks

M4 is your best bet. It has the fastest time to kill of the automatic assault rifles. If you don't mind burst rifles, the type 95 has the fastest time to kill of almost any gun in the game.
M4a1 has low recoil as you're used to with the mp7, but can stretch well past the mp7's range.
That's my suggestion.

The fad is a really strong hip fire weapon... but that 4 bullets to kill hurts it a lot. If you run steady aim with the Focus proficiency and a silencer... and just be a hip-fire machine... it's not too too bad because the lack of a raise time allows you to get that extra bullet out there.
But I found the gun very limited in it's true use.
The only other great way to use the fad is with some sort of optic and a keen presence of mind to shoot for headshots.
The gun has a 1.7x headshot multiplier... which is highest among assault rifles... but shooting for headshots is obviously no easy matter.

Well the rate of fire on it is indeed good. I just find personally I get gunned down a lot in straight up gun fights using the FAD... which is frustrating when it should be stronger.

Lol well recetntly i traded Ps3 in for an Xbox, and i forgot to get live. So i went to play my little brothers Ps3 to play MW3 i kid you not all of his classes had TYPE 95 rapid fire and Grenade Launcher as primary FMG9 akimbo as secondary and Dead man hand and Assasin blind eye stalker all pro for all of his classes.

"The noobs in the game will tell you what the best guns and perks are". I heard a commentator say that once and it stuck. The strongest things in the game will be found first by the players who have a hard time using regular powered weapons.
