Warzone How did my friend get an Ultra rarity Pelington blueprint?

One of my friends recently got into warzone and was playing solo today. He told me that he somehow got a red sniper blueprint. It turns out that he got the Direct Injection blueprint for the Pelington. Upon further inspection, I don't see any way he could of gotten this. It isn't even available for purchase in the store. Please somebody enlighten me.

There's a event going on. You earn rewards from the Terminator event. That's probably how he got it.
