Infinite Warfare Speculation and Guesses

This is a massive speculation article, and as a result contains Spoilers.



So here are my Wild Mass Guesses for Infinite Warfare, just like on TV Tropes but this time for the Forums.

1. It is a Sequel to Ghosts: Very Unlikely, but if there was a secret reference or something that confirms it, that would be awesome.
   
   
2. Jackals can be customized and painted: It’s said you can customize the Jackal Loadout, so Gunsmith for the Jackal is definitely a thing, as for the Paint Shop, I’m not sure, but the Paint Shop did come with Gunsmith, so it’s very likely, plus there’s a decal on the Jackal, which could mean we’re getting custom decals.
   
   
3. Salen Kotch’s Appearance will be Updated and the Bald Dude was just a Placeholder: Some people are saying this, but this may not be the case as I think Salen looks awesome as a Bald Blue-Eyed man.
   
   
4. Gunsmith will Return in Multiplayer: A lot of elements will return from game to game, and I think Gunsmith would be one of them, at least in Multiplayer anyway.
   
   
5. There will be more than one or more than two sports stars in the game.
   
   
6. Raines will become more Dangerous than Salen: It’s possible as, Carlos did tell me that there could be someone more dangerous than the SDF. Perhaps this means an Unexpected alliance with Salen.
   
   
7. The Maps ‘’Carrier’’ and ‘’Rust’’ will Return: Probably not, if it’s not in the Beta, it’s probably not in the game.
   
   
8. You can Replay the Missions in any order, but the game will drop you in the Retribution.
   
   
9. The Credits Sequence is a remake of MW2’s Museum Sequence: I really hope so, MW2’s Museum is probably the greatest credits ever in my opinion, and you could also explore the Museum like in MW2 as well.
   
   
10. ‘’Space Oddity’’ Will play during the Credits, or even ‘’Life on Mars’’: It’s a shame, if David Bowie was still alive he could have done what Paul McCartney did with Destiny and make a completely original song for the game.
    
    
11. The Final Battle takes place in Tokyo or Kyoto: MP Map seems to indicate it, and there is the ‘’Geneva’’ Convention and the ‘’Kyoto’’ Protocol, plus Tokyo is already a Megacity so what more than Salen(or Raines) trying to destroy the Largest city on earth?
    
    
12. Omar does not like Ethan at the beginning: Not a Guess, it’s been confirmed, but later in the game, SPOILERS, he eventually grows to like Ethan, as seen in the Campaign Footage.

Infinity Ward said it's not. It's a completely new story, completely new sub-franchise. I forgot where I read it, but the whole thing is new. Clean Slate.

Not going to happen. Activision or any of the studios doesn't change things up like that before release. And it's not a good move, either. I instantly went like "Robocop guy!" That means it could be a talking subject to players or casuals - the target for the game.

Yes but Infinite Warfare probably won't allow you to play the end at the beginning like Black Ops III, the story is so good it's actually better than BOIII's.
