PSN Is Black Ops 2 really better than MW3?

As much as I love Black ops 2, I still have feelings for MW3.

What are your opinions on this? I'm curious.

It's a little bit better, but not like a leap...

COD4 was a huge leap over the first 3 titles.

I never liked the Xbox 360 launch title Call of Duty 2/3.

I mean I would say that I love them equally. The game always improves over years but this year I didn't really see them include anything but that "future' theme.

I feel like Black Ops 2 was aimed as a more refined version of Modern Warfare, and I believe it succeeded. I feel like BO2 is what MW3 should have been. You can select any gun in the game and be good with it, whereas in most other CoD games there's always one pretty advantageous gun for each class. I like how they gave campers the short end of the stick by changing up Ghost, but not removing it completely. I like how they give you enough incentive to try out new things and not force you to get any pro perks. You get the extras because you want to and there are more reasons to prestige than reasons not to.

But at the end of the day, these minor changes aren't enough to satisfy your average FPS gamer. It's still the same game with the same basic mechanics. There won't be a big jump like CoD4 since fans already eat up the gameplay as it is. It's like Halo. It's going to be the same basic style of gameplay with extras. That won't change until it's absolutely necessary. If they did change it up, there'll be way more fans upset that everything changed than fans that are happy with revamped gameplay.

BO2 Change a lot from the beginning, now if a perfect game. If you ask this question before 4 months, I was definitely say no.
