Unlike Call of Duty 2 which was developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty 3 was developed by Treyarch, the same people who made Call of Duty 2: Big Red One. Now was Call of Duty 3 actually a sequel to Big Red One and not the Call of Duty 2 we all know and love?
Well first off, I feel like Call of Duty 2: Big Red One and Call of Duty 3 share lots of similarities when it comes to the game itself. Just play the game and you'll see what I mean. I don't know exactly how to explain it but it just feels more like Big Red One.
Call of Duty 2: Big Red One is a mystery itself. Why did they even bother putting a 2 in the title? Why didn't they just call it "Call of Duty: Big Red One"? It might be because Call of Duty 3 was intended to be a sequel to that game and not Call of Duty 2 because the same studio who brought us Call of Duty 2: Big Red One was also the one who brought us Call of Duty 3 one year later.
Which game do you guys think Call of Duty 3 is a sequel to? Call of Duty 2? Call of Duty 2: Big Red One? Both?
