I was banned for my hud name on COD which was "blac guy". Please tell me why I cannot be who I am as a black man. Is it offensive to be a black man on your platform? Now my name is stuck as a number for the next 6 months. The last time people was designated as numbers was a bad time for those people. Allow me to represent my heritage and do not number us!

The thing to remember is we know you're skin colour because you told us, that doesn't mean everyone that plays will know that.

Now some innocent person might see that and either share your ethnic origin and be offended or not share your ethnic origins and be offended on your behalf.

Activision have started to ban user names to stop receiving complaints, but they can't do background checks on every user to validate whether or not it's ok for them to use certain words in the usernames so they ban those that might offend someone or anyone.

I'm not saying they are right or wrong to do this, just this is how it appears to be, it sucks that you got caught out by it, and I understand your position but it is what it is, as they say.
