Just a few Ideas

I was looking around the site and came up with a few possible suggestions for anyone who manages the site to toss around.

The color scheme and background are great, but black and grey is a very stoic theme. Having the choice to change the background and colors according to individual preference would be nice.

Also, some more possible topic areas might be beneficial. Maybe having a weapons section, for instance, could help further organize the site. Or even a glitches section, just an idea.

That idea about custom color schemes is pretty cool. I had an idea about a section where you just list your load-out and people can give critique on it. It's kind of like your idea of a weapons section but exactly the same so both sections could co-exist with no confusion. Another thing I was thinking about was maybe adding CoD related smilies instead of just regular ones. Something like smilies dressed as Spetsnaz or shooting a gun, maybe even a zombie smilie. Just an idea off the top of my head.

The only trouble with this is that the weapons changes for each CoD (generally). So I mean unless you have LOTS of options it seems pretty impossible.

I do however very much like the sound of a glitches section.

How about some badges guys? or maybe a title achievement for reaching a certain amount of post or likes or sumthin within those lines.

Badges are a very good idea icebloodz, it would make this site feel more like the actual Call of Duty games. Maybe we could upgrade our badges every time we contribute, and have special badges for events.

I also like the idea of military badges (ranks), a forum I post on frequently has this for post count. Until recently it was the only avatar you could have till they updated the site and allowed custom avatars.

Ohhh yeah! Any type of badges/rank type system would be really cool! Like after 100 posts you become ___ rank, or if you post a thread in every section you get the ___ badge. Very cool ideas guys!

Definitely a good idea. Could keep people coming back to post and keep the forum fresh and talkative.
