lag comp/hit detection

honestly. this should be the only thing being discussed at this point. Everyone who is experiencing the horrible lag comp and hit detection, particularly those with good to great internet connections should be advocating in some way to have this game fixed... and/or quit altogether till it does.

I posted this in a thread recently, not sure what happened to it.

It's a very interesting issue to research, and fairly new to me personally. Do you agree?

thanks for the post. I'll check into it and see what I can do but honestly... bufferbloat lag comp etc.... this should not be an issue and every gamer with decent internet should feel shafted about this. It's not a casual gamer's and/or hardcore gamer's responsibilty to overhaul his/her entire network to make a game work properly agree?

Bleh, everybody deals with connection issues at one point or another. It's always going to be an issue with host/client gaming. Just something we have to get used to. Dedicated servers would fix the lag compensation issue, but if bufferbloat really IS to blame I'm not sure if the problem would end.

What I don't understand is why Activision is refusing to put dedicated servers into this game. I'm sure they have the money. If they stop releasing a new game every year and stop killing another great video game series, they could fix some of this stuff that give them a piss-poor name.
