Legendary weapons vs regular ones question

I have the Flood which is a legendary MP5. I also have the MP5 fully unlocked and it's level 57. My question is , does the Flood inherently have better stats than a regular MP5? I can put the same attachments on a regular MP5 that my Flood has. Are they the same at that point?

Yes. Blueprints are same stats as customized versions. Blueprints are essentially cosmetics. The thing is, some players just want to buy Blueprints for one of 3 reasons:

1. They don't have time to grind the the game.
2. They like the cosmetic design of the gun. Kinda like buying Mace for your Ghost operator.
3. Warzone.
