DMZ Let's Speculate. WHY Do We Lose All Our Sh... Stuff When Glitched Out??

This is one aspect of DMZ that really bugs me..

When you glitch out/lose connection in the game, you lose all yer shit..

It's annoying as hell..

I am curious as to exactly WHY this is.. Do the developers have no choice?? Are the technical reasons why they can't make it so you keep all yer stuff when you glitch out??

Are they just wanting to be pricks??

Is there some way that making it so you keep all your stuff when glitched out can work to the players advantage?? IE a cheat or an exploit or something??

The way I see it is if the game loses connection to you. You or them is the cause and they probably do not know if you rage quit or if the server snafu'd and it was their fault, and or of course your IP or any part of it between them and you could be at fault. SO they do the simple thing and treat it like you were killed..

Although I have now seen 2 times a loading in fubar that tossed me back to login screen where upon logging in it told me wait loading session equipment and a minute later my toon pops up and I have my stuff.

So I do think they are working on it.. I just wish they would fix it so if you lost connection like halfway thru the session you could get back in then. THAT is frustrating as all heck to me

once your in game if you disconnect i think that is more to do with connection then the player or activision, it is the internet after all.

OK Fair enough..

But if there is even a CHANCE that it is caused by crappy Activision code, then the devs should err on the side of giving the PLAYER the benefit of the doubt..

IE Making sure the PLAYER keeps their shit...

i agree but with all thats going on with the game and internet its like looking for a needle in the hay stack. since season 4 everytime i go to desktop it shows the errors like it did when i was getting kicked months ago but im not getting kicked. alot of wierdness going on.

I cannot believe after months of having No disconnect issues and now after the last update that I have internet or connection issues when I have a ping of 19 and no packet loss and then suddenly

Boop game start screen after a black screen dump out of game.

Not to mention its happening to a ton more people I chat with and observe in game as well as here on this board. Heck I been seeing more people STUCK in the game and are not able to move.

THE funniest and oddest way I saw someone fix the stuck thing was they had me throw a semtex at them and it "Blew" them out of the spot and they were then able to move around and "play" normally.

That was the most odd thing I have seen.
