Map Pack 3 tops one million sales in its first weekend!

Pretty impressive stats, Activision are reporting that just on its release weekend (6th - 9th of August) there were over a million (1,000,000) downloads of Map Pack 3 on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network.

With this latest release, all three map packs for Call of Duty(R): World at War now total a combined 6.5 million downloads worldwide, and counting.
"The support and enthusiasm from the Call of Duty: World at War online community is tremendous," said Mark Lamia, studio head of Treyarch. "The team is appreciative that so many players from around the world have continued to enjoy the game and all of the downloadable content that we have produced."

Did you buy Map Pack 3 on release day? What are your thoughts on it?

Wow. That's really impressive! Treyarch are making a huge amount of money off its fans, and you can hardly blame them. I don't have any of the map pack, but I hope to get Map Pack 3 soon.

I bought Map Pack 1 and 2 on their release days, but i ran out of points then when i tried to order some on my 360 it declined my credit card I'll get round to buying it soon i imagine, but i don't really play W@W enough to justify it really...
