so frusterating!!!!

so I've been at CODMW now for over a month and I cannot figure out this aiming. I've tried all sensitivities all aim assist variables etc. But still when I aim at an enemy(everytime) my crossbars shoot away left or right.. if my shots do actually land (even in the chest or head) it takes 40-60 bullets to kill them. Im getting so mad at this. Plus in order to get my crossbars to stay on an enemy I must stand totally still and shoot at them. Please someone help me..

While there are many cheaters/hackers running around this is odd behavior. In my experience you are dealing with nasty latency on your line.

Run a speedtest (speedtest.net I'd you are unfamiliar) and look for your jitter number. You can try resetting your modem/router to see if it improves.

Also, assuming you are on a console, test your internet connection from there and make sure it's not wonky. There are many guides on the interwebs to help negate some of the connection issues to get to the cod servers.

Oh, your jitter number should be as close to zero as possible. 2-3 is acceptable. Your ISP will say anything under 10, but that's crap. If it's over 5 make them fix it!

One more thing...

I've noticed on my ps4 pro that if my wireless controllers drop to 1/2 to 2/3 battery the response is delayed enough that weird stuff starts to happen. Makes it seem like I'm lagging just enough to not score anything. Soon as I swap for a fully charged controller stuff works again.

Spam....

Lastly, I promise, if all else fails, practice. Go into practice mode and shoot some bots to fine tune your aim, settings, etc, then try live again.
