Someone Correct Me....

Yes, I have calculator on my phone, and I ran it up: 16(GB) x 4 = 64

I just wasn't sure if that is an actual 16GB stick by itself....

I know that sometimes DDR memory will say xxGB but it's only PART of the actual total...

Example a single stick might be marked 16GB, but it's actually just one quarter of the full 16GB IE 4GB by itself....

If this is actually a 16GB stick by itself, that's awesome.. :D

Oh, yeah. There's that whole "Marketed as X, but isn't under the hood." Like Hard Drives. Usually, it's 20% less, than what the box says. I would only use 16 x 4 if I had a bottom or mid tiered computer. If you want a pretty powerful computer, find higher stats to make room for better streaming of assets, and I am not talking about streaming to the internet like YouTube, I'm talking about streaming to your TV or monitor. Like texture streaming. PS4 can't load textures very well, because PS5 is designed to stream from the Hard Drive for better load times.

If that IS a single 16GB stick, then I can get 64GB for $120!!

Which seems to me to be a HELLASCIOUSLY good deal... :D
Yes, but keep in mind the 20%. It's not gonna be 64 GB at the end of the tunnel. It's gonna be more like 60 GB or 55GB. And to be fair, its not always about the GB, it's what the RAM can stream.

That's DDR4, and I'm guessing 3000 mb per second or however they measure the speed of delivery.

Yea, it's also my understanding that, once you get past 16GB, there really isn't any major advantage to have more RAM.. Unless you are doing some heavy video or CGI graphics work..

On the other hand, bragging rights is always nice.. :D

In the future, this is true, but we're gonna need bigger size of RAM in addition to the speed. That's eventually. Games are getting yuge, bro.
