*SPOLIER ALERT* Modern Warfare 2 Plot discussion

Hello to everyone on this forum! I just finished the MW2 campaign and I'm not satisfied with the plot. I just wanted to know what everyone thinks of it.

In my opinion, the plot was all jumbled-up and I couldn't understand it very well. And the worst part...it's incomplete! Why did they have to

kill Ghost when he was a 'special' character(with his own comic book)!

The unexpected surprises like

the betrayal of General Shepherd

were cool but parts like

end fight between Soap and Captain Price

were too...cinematic. I liked

being able to play as Soap once again, though.

It's pretty clear now that this time Infinity Ward has put more importance on the plot. I mean modern warfare 1's plot was pretty simple - with the bad guy being killed in the end.

WHY in word is the plot left so incomplete, I mean it's as if the level isn't over yet, with Nikoli saying, 'I know a safe place'.

Also, what's that 'Museum' bit supposed to mean? The whole plot a was actually a movie?

I've been too busy playing multiplayer to focus on the main storyline much still, so can't really say.

The Plot is still incomplete because the story isnt over , as for the museum level that is simply a place to try the guns out and see the characters up close

The thing is, the story so far is left open for MW3 and Ghost (there's a game coming specifically designed for him, of course).

yep, i agree with carlos, its set up like a cliffhanger for mw3, but sadly, there probably wont be a mw3..not by infinity ward anyways.

Unfortunately yes. If MW3 is made by Treyarch, not IW, it wont be the same. But isn't a third a bit too far...?

Modern Warfare 3 has been confirmed. It is the game that is coming out this year. Yes, this year.

The developers behind MW3 are: The reconstructed IW, and Sledgehammer Games for the SP portion, with Raven Software handling the multiplayer portion.

Sledgehammer is a newly created company, owned by Activision. These guys were the same guys that ran Visceral Games, which is an Electronic Arts company.

Raven Software is a company with an extensive list of experience. Their recent work was Singularity, but their older works include a list of older FPS titles: the HeXen series, the Soldier of Fortune series, and Quake 4. Their other works include licensed games such as some Star Wars games, some Star Trek games, and some X-men games.

I still dont think any new Call of Duty game will top MW2 though. And now they are making them yearly! Atleast give Black Ops a chance, altough its a piece of crap! Maybe they are bringing it out so quickly because alot of people are still playing MW2? But any way, it will be released 10.09.11
