Warzone Take RPG'S out of Warzone

Take RPG's out of warzone or make them legendary drops only found on the map. So sick of getting kill by kids with no skill who use this crap as a crutch. Its honestly ruining the game. If you are going to leave them in the game then rebalance them. Reduce damage to players (damage to vehicles can stay the same), reduce accuracy, reduce reload speed, reduce the amount of ammo you can have. Something needs to change with them.

People have complained about n00bt00bs in COD as a crutch for bad players since I began playing in 2004. I don't think they have a place in Multi-player at all, because their purpose should be to kill vehicles. Without RPGs or C4 in Warzone vehicles would be extremely overpowered. But a few things need to change.

First off slow down the ADS time. The point of an RPG is to destroy a vehicle or to clear out a room of campers. Not to whip around and quick scope a single infantry 15m away. It should not be a viable CQC weapon the way a sniper isn't. Unless you can land a headshot with the sniper at very close range, you'll never get a 2nd shot off much less the 3rd required to kill because you'll be dead already. It should be the same with RPGs. You should not be able to get shot from behind, whip around while taking bullets, and quick scope a guy with an RPG. You should be dead before you can ADS it because it should take a few seconds to prime it to fire. That CQC ability needs to be removed from the game. Well, save for the grenade launcher which is an ultra rare drop.

2nd, why should I be able to carry 6 rockets? What an absurd number. 2 should be the max you can carry, like C4. That means you save them to destroy vehicles, or rarely use them to take out camping players. If you use them anytime you see an enemy you won't have any left when that truck comes to run you over. Having 6 rockets per player, or 24 per squad, is hysterical.

Or alternatively, just nerf RPG damage against players. Make their overall damage low, but give them a massive multiplier against vehicles. Players would be able to survive the first rocket, it should just break their armor, meaning a followup shot is required and again like with snipers you'd be dead before you could get off a 2nd shot making them not viable as a CQC weapon.

As for making the vehichles overpowered - I've been saying we should lose every single vehichle in the game since warzone began, the things are annoying as hell. It would make the game far more interesting if it was all in foot.

I disagree. The game is more interesting when the gas is actually dangerous. The people who complain about the zone being too slow and wanting to nerf it and be able to out-run it are players who fail to plan. With the first circle being visible from the plane, if you jump outside it you better be ready to move quick if you don't have a vehicle. Don't spend 5 minutes looting and then whine when the gas wrecks you.

Vehicle physics in general need a complete overhaul. They cruise over bumps and rocks at full speed like it's flat road. They turn on a time at high speeds, which is what makes running over players so easy - because the vehicle can move more laterally than the player. Players should be able to dodge vehicles coming at them - vehicles should only be fast-transports on flat terrain to outrun the gas.

Well yes that's sort of my point.
With so many vehichles dotted around the map it makes escaping the gas a non-issue.
If you knew you'd have to navigate on foot it would make the gameplay/tactics more diverse.

The point is, if you're jumping from the plane to somewhere that's a good distance to the first circle, you should plan ahead and make sure you have a vehicle. If you don't have vehicles you basically cut off half the map because of where the circle started. If you're arguing for less vehicles that's fine. But vehicles need to exist on maps of this size to allow players to utilize the full map.
 
If they take out RPG then they may aswell take out snipers and auto rifles too. While they are at it, may aswell delete all the buildings too. Just to save us all time, they can just do a roll at the start of the match and announce the winner.

You should have read his entire message. He also said, "Make them legendary drops." This is an important point. Because it prevents everyone from running around with rocket launchers. Currently this is a problem in the game.

I have no doubt you love pretending you have skill because you've killed someone by firing a rocket at their feet. Sad.
 
Run the E.O.D perk instead of running cold blooded. Problem solved. You now have time to react and kill them before they fire the second rpg. Atleast there is a perk to stop instant death from explosions, unlike being instant killed by a sniper or melted by an ar/smg in under half a second.

If you don't run cold blooded then you're going to make yourself a giant white target for any of the 132 players on the server running Thermal scopes in their Loadout. You shouldn't have to waste a perk slot on EOD just to stop a CQC RPG, when CQC is not how an RPG should be used. How does it make more sense to you to say "waste a perk to stop a broken game mechanic" instead of "fix the broken game mechanic".

A sniper requires a headshot to 1-hit kill. If you're downed like that it either means you were sitting still when you shouldn't, or the sniper made an excellent shot to headshot you while you were running. No part of that is broken, that is called rewarding smart gameplay.
