Where have you been since Season Two? It's been that way for a while now.
EDIT: I have just experienced the lag. I recognize this "lag." Its definitely not the server. Someone is cheating via lagswitch. It only lags when you're next to a specific person with the lag. Often times, the cheater can somewhat move better than you, but you freeze and skip major frames. Classic COD4 lagswitch in action.
I'll post the video tomorrow.

Yeah I've seen that crap. Hell all my times of PC gaming since 1998 seems like server went to crap when a hacker was in it.
grrrrrrr where is an edit at?? I have been on some servers that were nice and smooth, but thats in morning, seems like afternoon is deadly

I never had any connection problems before season 4. But now it's EVERY match. Some matches im literally teleporting around the maps and others I'll just get constant packet burst and PING Spikes.
It honestly feels like they shut down all servers near me at once. Like eventhough my region is set to europe im getting put in matches with people from the other side of the damn planet.
I have been in matches where half of the other players had names that where all chinese characters like 玩家玩家

It only happens when someone is pissed off. Here, GGReloaded goes on a rampage, then is lagged. He goes into a new match, does the same thing, but only after he killed someone with a lagswitch next to him.

I really dont believe lag switches are causing it.
For a long time it was EVERY single match for me. The odds of having someone with a lagswitch in EVERY match for damn near the entirety of season 4 just doesnt seem plausible.

Then, how do you explain the lag being non-existant when you're not near a person with lag? I have been playing this series since COD4 in 2007. I know this is a lagswitch. If it's the server, fine. But I recognize this. This lag.
If the server couldn't handle it, it would boot you off. Disconnect you. Like this example...

I do know one thing, If you have an RTX card turn it off and have your V SYNCH on. it helped my smoothness of the servers. I think its either the V card drivers or the game itself mostly. Im not talking about that bad lag . This is just for the little jerkyness it seems to have some times.

I was getting it constantly. Even Before the matches would start. Like I would be in the truck or helicopter transporting you on to the map at the beginning of the match before the countdown even starts and those annoying orange icon would allready be flashing like a strobelight.

yeah same. some servers are good some are bad. I get the packet loss boxes on left of my screen, BUT non e showing on the packet loss bar up top in game itself

Yup same here. Packet loss and packet burst icons constantly flashing and the game stutters, pauses and skips multiple frames but the packet loss counter stays at 0%.
I was getting it in EVERY match from season 4 dropped and until about a week ago. Season 4 has been completely unplayable for me.
In the beginning I though it was my connection, but I have had technicians from my ISP come to the house and check everything and they couldn't find anything.
The second time they were here I decided to just start MW and show them. As soon as I started MW multiplayer the connection went to shit. Major ping spikes and package loss. Tested with a few other games and there wasn't as much as a hiccup in sight.
The technician said he'd never seen anything like it and that it had to be an issue with the game servers and nothing he could really do anything to solve.

Getting connection issues as well for the past few days. Rubber banding every other match and packet loss icon on left screen.
