Modern Warfare 3 has been released to retailers worldwide yesterday. People have lined up for a copy of the game, and then played the game non-stop. One player was playing in Team Deathmatch and found a long kept secret. And that’s a bit surprising since Call of Duty games has been notoriously known for leaks right before the game is out. Even few days ago, there has been a lot of leaks on the internet, but not this one.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had killstreaks up to only 7 kills. It has been the staple of the series to have a 25 killstreak, it continues now. With Modern Warfare 3, the maximum number of killstreaks is 25. Yeap. You have to rack up 25 kills to get the “Mother of all bombs” or M.O.A.B for short.

What the killstreak does is take out every member of the opposing team via some kind of gas – as you can see from the video it looks like nuke, but unlike the nuke in MW2, you and your team are alive and able to score more points thanks to a pro player.

Just to clarify a few things: M.O.A.B does not, I repeat, does NOT end the game. You can still continue to play. M.O.A.B isn’t just for a particular strike package; it is available on all strike packages. Get 25 kills, you get killstreak – simple as that.

I had thought that I would have a very tough time getting a M.O.A.B but it isn't that hard if you run the specialist strike package.

Yeah, it's not terribly hard to get, especially since the game is still new and you will have a lot of "just bought the game" newbies around. I was 1 lousy kill off it the other day on a 33-3 kill confirmed match :/. But I guess the entire enemy team didn't like me so they all came at me lol. Kudos to them really.

I have been playing MW3 in the last 12 hours now and already people are exploiting MW3 like a plague. In fact, this guy kept winning the game with 25 kills per match - score limiting the game. I sent him a semi-hate mail, then he admits he knows all the spawn points. So, he's basically choke pointing the entire game. In another instance... I was playing with a friend of mine, and the game froze because I killed 4 players in one full swoop. Someone was lagswitching.

There's also a lot of camping. A lot. I don't really know how half of the time, people get to win a shooting battle.

Sounds like you had a lot of shitty lobbies lol. I've never encountred the score limiting thing. Knowing all the spawn points, is that really exploiting or having a good memory?

The lagswitch I have seen happen as well!! More so in MW2 then I have so far in mw3. MW2 there were a few games i'd get 2-3 predators and every time i called it in it would lag, or host migrate.

I've not really seen too much camping as of yet. I guess it may be depending upon the game mode as well.

It's definitely not good memory. The game's been out for what? A week or two? That's definitely exploiting. But not the kind of exploiting that screws up killstreaks, and other exploits that you read on the internet.

It may seem like the game is lagging, but it's really a lagswitcher in the lobby.

Hardhat has some places where it's easy to camp. One in the long corridor, and the other is in the containers area. If you find a camper there, he's going to stay there for the remainder of the match - that's almost the hotspot for meeting up.
