my monitor does hdr but seems like it goes a little darker and geforce experience wont playback recoerdings with it. has anyone been using hdr and whats your opinions on it. im not sure about it yet.

When Vanguard was released there were some issues with compatiblity between the game, HDR Monitors and Windows HDR settings, I don't know if this has been addressed yet, but if you are getting issues with GeForce Experience not recording HDR gameplay correctly, that might be the reason.

You could just turn off the HDR setting in Windows until it is fixed, I am guessing that it won't be high on their priorities list though as there are more pressing, game breaking issues to clear first.
