Weapon Customization

I have something kinda odd here. I have a weapon called, "Death Mask" and you can not customize it at all. But for some unknown reason when I'm looking at that weapon it has a green box flashing next to it as to say to me, "Customize Me" but as I stated above you can not customize this weapon. So why do I have this flashing green box?

This happens when you have a camo unlocked like platinum that affects the entire class. You have platinum unlocked for assault rifles then they release a new one you cant use platinum until you unlock gold for that weapon. But, you get the green box saying you have platinum unlocked. Annoying.
