What do these icons mean in Daily Challenges?

Rarity of items. For example, purple is Legendary.
Sometimes. Others is because the mission is actually "tough," so you get better rewards. However, the rewards is going to be in that color, but what kind of rewards is going to be a surprise or you can click the mission highlight to get more information it show what items you get.
