What do you guys think of Quickscoping/Sniping in BO2

Personally I think it is pretty balanced and not too easy like Mw3 but a good mix between Mw2 and CoD4. Looking for other opinions.

In my opinion, it's super gay. Don't take this personal, everyone has their own right to play the game how they like to. That said, nothing worse than being on a nice score streak and getting capped by someone who's not using a sniper realistically. Then you look at the kill cam, and you weren't even HIT! It wasn't intended to be in the game and became a glitch a long time ago. A lot of people took advantage of it then and will bi*ch if it's pulled from the game. IMO it should be a lot harder than it is. You don't see snipers in the Marines pull their snipers up to their eye and shoot, comon man...

Aside from my rant on quick scoping, it does take some time to get good at it and does require a lot of skill to be good. Most of the time players that are doing it aren't even good, so it really doesn't matter.

Well, I think trickshotting is ok but the community for trickshotting is quite annoying. From my experience if you don't trickshot yet you snipe they criticize you for "hardscoping" when "hardscoping" is how snipers are intended to be used.

I agree with you to an extent but as far as realism goes, the Call of Duty series is far from it so quick scoping being unrealistic is irrelevant because it is along side things like exploding crossbows, ballistic knives, and even killstreaks in general are unrealistic. I think the games are almost forcing players who want to snipe to rely on quickscoping because of smaller maps and overpowered SMG's so it comes to being the only way to use a sniper in the game. All in all I think Call of Duty is long overdue and a broken series :/
