Ya know, half of the videos on youtube are sarcastic fucking videos. I hate that shit.
It's mind boggling how half of the users think it's great to post stupid little internet memes just to satisfy the funny shit on youtube. Other than that, sometimes you find informative, funny [in a good way], high quality shows that may be short, but memorable. YouTube on the other hand is also a marketing platform for businesses, and that's a great thing about youtube. Instead of spending thousands of dollars in television advertising, you get a platform that brings customers to your site without marketing dollars. I think that's a GREAT thing to have. Not just because of my business, but everyone else's.
You want a message to the world in your own expression? YouTube is there. Don't have money to send a message to your market? YouTube is there. I can go on and on. But Youtube's influrence is beyond Call of Duty or any first person shooter game on any platform...
