Windows 10/11 Install.. Can't See HD

I have this lady who got scammed.. Her Hard Drive was bit-locked and scammers were demanding money to unlock the HD...

I told her the best solution was to pull the old HD and re-install the OS on a new SSD HD...

I got her a new 512GB SSD HD and am trying to re-install the OS..

When I do, i get this screen..



Now I have seen this screen before many times.. The solution I always used was to just download a different ISO, create a new INSTALL Thumbdrive and that usually fixes the problem...

But it's not working in this case..

I have tried 4 different ISOs and they all give me that same error...

I did a factory reset on the BIOS settings. That didn't help...

Is it possible that the scammer/hacker has done something to the BIOS to prevent exactly what I am trying to do?? Re-install the OS with a different HD???

I even tried taking the SSD HD, install it on a completely different laptop.. The SSD works fine and the install went perfectly..

When I take it out of the laptop and put it back in the AIO (All In One) it goes for a couple minutes and then restarts in an endless loop...

If I were you, I would consult the lady to buy a new Windows license (or download a new ISO), and buy a new Hard Drive.

The hard drive is fucked. Put a drill up its ass and move on.

Got it!!!

The SSD HD is an NVMe drive... I had to use the intel RST vmd driver before it would recognise the SSD..

Nice, I found the empty hard drive a bit odd. Especially if you had formatted the drive.
