Would you wan't a new COD title about WWII?

So lately I have been bored with all the moder and futuristic equipment in the Call Of Duty games. I would like them to make a new Call Of Duty about World War II. Implement all their new knowlage and make it fun. I think it would turn out to be great and very fun. What are your thoughts on this? Call Of Duty 2 was awesome and World At War wasn't bad either, but with all their new ideas I think they could make a really great game that would stand out.

I've been yearning for a good new WW II title as well. It's a really fascinating period with a lot more battles to be shown, than just Stalingrad, D-Day and the Pacific. Lately all we've been getting is contemporary shooters and occasionally the odd sci-fi futuristic shooter.
I want to see some some delicious WW II gore again.

I would like it since WaW is kinda old, as in nobody really plays it. Plus, the campaign is too short. If they would make the story mode longer and focus more on it (more than the multiplayer) it would be amazing.

Why WWII? I think they could reinvent the wheel and use WWI as the backdrop for a new game. its always about allies defeating the axis..the good guys getting the bad guys. I wanna see some WWI actiion.

I would love to see a new Call of Duty game released that is based around WW II. I think it'd be a very great choice by the creators if they did decide to go ahead with the idea. It could potentially rejuvenate the Call of Duty series and bring back some old players while encouraging current players to play more and get back into the series 10 fold.

No not really. I am kind of tired of WW2 related media such as movies, stories, books, etc. Seems everyone is doing it these days. Might wanna do something a bit more under-the-radar and original for a new Call Of Duty game.

Yeah, kind of tired of the WW2 stuff in general. But hey, you only have so much material to work with, I guess. Guns are a pretty recent invention.

I think they could do one centered around a ex solider who is caught in the middle of a way. Then it would be like you are a regular joe and there is so much they can do with that. I think all this crap about in war is getting boring year after year.

I think it would be cool. They havent touched the subject in a while and I think it deserves a reboot. With the new graphics of the Xbox One and PS4, the game would look beautiful. Or maybe a new twist on history? Like what if they had an alternate history timeline but still the same period of WWII.

That is exactly what I want. Ever since World at War came out, there wasn't a good WW2 game out there. My favorite WW2 game is CoD 2 and World at War. Instead of making these futuristic type of Call of Duty games, they should go back to the roots. World War 2 started this franchise, why would they just throw it away. We could use a Call of Duty 1 or 2 remake, and I would be the first to buy it, definitely. However, while waiting for it, check out Heroes and Generals. It's a free to play game on Steam, it's WW2 themed and it's quite good.
