Shader Optimization

When logging in to the game it starts to install the "Shader Optimization" which I have little to no issues at all until now after the update. Now when I log in the download can take up to 30 mins or longer. So I place it on pause so I can play the game. Is there anyone else experiencing these issues and is there a fix?

Do you have the game installed on a removable HHD?, Because my stepson has the same problem (before) the patch , But he has it on a removable Hard drive. So I thought that was the problem.

No, I have the game on a nvme m.2.

Go into Options - Graphics and select Restart Shaders Installation

Once complete exit the game and restart.

I gave that a shot a couple of times. but I still run into the same issue every so often.

Do you have your graphics driver set to automatically update? The reason I ask, is that's why the shader install starts again every so often, typically after a driver update.

Nope, I don't have it on auto-update.
